Tackle it Tuesday!

The kid's room had gotten bad, and the worse it got, the less I wanted to deal with it. They say that cleaning with kids is like shoveling snow when it is snowing. I pretty much let it snow me in.

Did you see the baby camouflaged in there? I thought I could have kiddos in there with me while I was cleaning - HA! - no! They are the ones that decorated it this way!!! ('sept the basket of clean clothes) What was I thinking?!?!

This actually took me a couple of days, because not only did I put away but sort, toss, and return items that didn't belong. Not able to devote hours to the job, I had to do it between diapers and dishes, a few minutes at a time.

Done! Yeah! The floor still needs to be vacuumed, but I will take success where I can find it! :-)

My girls room (all three share a loft-like room) gets to looking like that sometimes! I have to do the same thing! You did a GREAT job! I'm sure it won't be the last time either! HA!

That's exactly the right way to do it when you have little kids under foot--a bit at a time! It looks wonderful. Here's a pat on the back for your hard work!

That looks SO good. I got my kids' room looking like that last week...and would you believe it's back to being trashed again? *sigh*

You should be so proud of yourself! Good Job! I bet the kids love to play more in there now.

Just wonderful!! Way to go! That was a lot of work I am sure. It is amazing how fast kids can destroy a room. In fact my son was playing in his clean playroom today(remember my post a couple weeks ago), so I better go check and see if it is still "clean". I am sure I need to put a few things back in their place.

Good work :) With ones that little, cleaning is not easy.

The room looks fabulous! I have a couple of rooms that need that kind of work done, too. I guess I'll just start a little at a time!

My tackle it is up, too.

The art of cleaning is so under-rated!!! You did great. One day, they will be able to clean on their own like that, but don't expect that they will want to ;).

I do know from experience that on ocassion, they will actually clean, sort, throw... and when they are done, they will say, "Wow, this looks great!!"
