Starbuks in Ensenada

Well, in regard to this post, about Starbucks in Ensenada, my friend Virginia and I went, with 5 kids between us, and had a latte.

For a double shot soy latte (my drink of choice) it was 39 pesos . . that's about $3.50 . . . mas o menos.

And the taste was comparable to state side Starbucks, and the decor igual (that means "the same") . . .

I'm happy.

I love reading your blog, Michelle, because it shows me that I am normal... that living in Mexico and going to Starbucks is a treat, not a daily thing! ;) We have been to Starbucks twice in a year here. There's something comforting about getting the same drink and sitting in the same decor, kinda feels like home!

I couldn't believe how excited I got about my starbucks within (long) walking distance, so I can only imagine what a treat it is to have one in MX!

Although I have to confess, I ground my own hazelnut creme coffee yesterday morning... mmmmm... cheaper and still a good treat.
