Banana Pancakes
This is dedicated to Tracie D. who has an affinity for Banana Pancakes at La Fonda. *HI* And Mimi, if she doesn't see this, can you see that she does? *heart, heart*
Can I just say, that the banana pancakes here are INCREDIBLE! The Japanese don't get the 'pancake' really, so it's more like this gooey bread type thing that's always homemade (no box taste!). They roll the dough (yes dough! it comes out similar to a flat doughnut) and serve it fresh with thick chunks of banana, home made whipcream and drizzled caramel.
