The pregnancy

I'm blaming the hormones, ladies, but I am SO sick and tired of the monotony of the days. I walked around in a slump and just wanted to sleep or veg in front of the TV.

I was walking around my kitchen trying to think of a pick-me-up and having no luck.

Any suggestions?

The good news is I expect this feeling to pass. Just wish I could shake it NOW! Ya know!

Otherwise - life on the field is going great. We studied Psalms 23 at the women's deaf retreat and then when we got back that Sunday the guest speaker at the church spoke on Psalms 23.

Now my antennas always go up when I hear the same message . . . Like God is trying to tell me something . .

Isn't it nice to get confirmed in your life that God is going to BE THERE and BLESS and TAKE CARE of you!

(well that just lifted my mood right there!)

Hear, here...It is nice to know that God is going to be there and take care of us...in fact, that's a confirmation for me as well- something I've definitely been thinking about lately.
And...the feeling will pass- I wish I had some ideas for you, but I just kind of waited for it to pass myself, and focused on the fact that I knew it would.

I remember feeling like that when I was pregnant. It was like I was watching the clock tick away the minutes. I would be so glad when it got dark outside because that meant the end of another day. I hated waking up in the morning because I knew what lay ahead.

It does pass eventually. I hope you're feeling better soon!

And you know once you have the baby you will be wishing (just once in a while) for a boring day (because life is NEVER boring with a new baby) and you will be getting a pick me up soon...

Shoot, I'm NOT pregnant and I feel that way sometimes... :)

Hang tight... and this too shall pass... :)

Hang in there. Go read Psalm 23 again.

I think I am going to go read that one again too. A pick me up is just what I need.

Ops! Forgot to say that God is always watching out for us. I hope you feel better soon!

Okay you asked for any advice...as far as the sickness part, soda crackers worked well for me, as far as the slump, sometimes swimming really helped me. It was relaxing, refreshing and I felt weightless. I know it will change. That's the beautiful thing about pregnancy and kids, things always change!
smiles to you! :)
