Today is my husband's birthday.
He is living with peritoneal dialysis so every day that he is with us I am grateful to God. You can just see the dialysis 'hose' in his right side in this picture of him and his friend Danny (who is with us today) hanging from the tree.
We have much to celebrate today.

I found your site through flip flop mamma, and I liked the title, between diapers and dishes, describes my life as well. Reading on about your missionary work, I was compelled to comment. My husband is a pastor and we are missionaries in Boulder, Colorado, church planting. My husband's bro and family are tribal missionaries in Papua New Guinea. He actually suffered with a periotonal (sp?) condition a while back in his heart, and it magically (or prayerfully) disappeared. Anyway, nice to meet you, I think I'll add you to my blog roll!
