I especially like the statement, "To harbor unforgiveness towards someone is like drinking poison and expecting the offender to die."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27605810.post-83251454489880078862008-06-18T11:11:00.000-07:002008-06-18T11:11:00.000-07:00;o) It's so nice to see that other peoples walks a...;o) It's so nice to see that other peoples walks are still continuing when mine is failing to be consistant!

I LOVE that! I think many people don't realize the part about forgiveness being a decision, not a feeling. (The same people think the same thing about love. Love is a choice that must be made daily.)

Praying that you will receive guidance from the holy spirit!

there's a Jaci Velasquez song I think you might like:

Ev'ry brief encounter that You send my way
Is a chance to show the love You gave me.
I see their troubled faces, a hunger deep inside
But I depend on You to touch their lives.
Light what burns within me, let Your truth shine through my life.

Speak for me; this my plea.
Say the words I can't express.
Sing for me a heavenly melody
That the people will be blessed.
Speak for me.

Sing for me, set me free,
They will see Your holiness.
Speak for me.
'Cause Your love will lead them on to heaven's gate
Where they can look upon Your face.
Light what burns within me, let Your truth shine through my life.Jennifer Swanepoelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03412037714911643943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27605810.post-81445169019067225642008-06-16T22:47:00.000-07:002008-06-16T22:47:00.000-07:00Congratulations on answering the call to minister ...Congratulations on answering the call to minister to these women. I read something pretty much like that in a book on healing and forgiveness. It really hadn't occured to me before, and I was going through trying to forgive a deep hurt. Excellent point - it poisons us, not them. I can't wait to read more of what's on your heart as you dig deep to try to help those around you.Girl Raised in the Southhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11589779898471579630noreply@blogger.com
